By downloading or using Marlek, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

Who offers Marlek

Marlek is published by KHASSINX LLC (a Florida limited liability company) as the App Store publisher and seller of record. The Marlek language and its cipher are the work of its creator, publicly credited as Slime@YT.

License to use

KHASSINX LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Marlek on the Apple devices associated with your account, subject to Apple's App Store Terms. Marlek is meant for playful use among friends and family.

Intellectual property

The Marlek language, its cipher table, the name, icons, design, and creative content of the app are the work and property of its creator, credited as Slime@YT, and are protected by applicable law. KHASSINX LLC acts as publisher and seller, not as the owner of that intellectual property. Your license does not transfer any rights in the language, the cipher, or the app: you may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works without written permission from the rights holder.

The Marlek "cipher" is not security

Marlek's cipher is a fixed, reversible substitution meant as a game. It is not cryptography or security protection: anyone who has the app can reverse the text. Do not use Marlek to protect sensitive, confidential, or personal information.

Acceptable use

You use Marlek at your own risk and in accordance with the law. Do not use it to harass, harm, or deceive anyone, or for any unlawful purpose, and do not attempt to decompile, modify, or tamper with the app.

Price and purchases

Marlek is offered free of charge. Any purchase or payment, should there be any in the future, is processed by Apple through the App Store and governed by Apple's terms.

No warranties

Marlek is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KHASSINX LLC and Marlek's creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida (USA), where KHASSINX LLC is based as seller, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights granted by the law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of Marlek after a change means you accept the new terms.
